My first horse and a fantastic 12th birthday present. He was my great show jumping partner for 6 years and taught me that ethical training practices can achieve just as much as 'standard' practices. Joey is a once-in-a-lifetime horse and I owe him everything I am today.
He is currently retired and living his best life in a small herd!

Juanito

The original plan was to lease him for 1 year so that he could help me practice and film my progress as I worked through a string of training courses online. However, thanks to a favourable turn of events, I was able to purchase him. Juanito forced me to spend hours researching and questioning everything I had previously learnt, as he was not easy to motivate at first. I started using positive reinforcement as a basis for training thanks to him!
He is currently on 'stand-by' due to an old injury that started acting up, but I hope to eventually be able to train him as a lesson horse!
